We are delighted to announce the 4th IABEP conference - IABEP 2026, in Nitra, from 13-15 October 2026.
After the successful launch of the International Association for Biomonitoring of Environmental Pollution in Trieste, second conference in Lisbon and a third in Belgrade, we now want to invite researchers, academics, practitioners, policymakers, and students with an interest in environmental monitoring and protection to join us in Nitra for the IABEP 2026 conference.
The IABEP conference will gather experts, researchers, and professionals in the field of biomonitoring of environmental pollution on all terrestrial and freshwater habitats. It will feature insightful presentations, engaging discussions, and networking opportunities focused on the latest advancements, challenges, and solutions in biomonitoring.

Biomonitoring techniques to monitor the spatial and temporal patterns of pollution and its impact, including biodiversity, pollutant accumulation, molecular markers, and magnetic analysis
Novel biomonitoring techniques and methodologies
Emerging pollutants, their toxicity and their impacts on ecosystems
Advances in bioindicators and biomarkers for pollution monitoring
Bioremediation and phytoremediation for pollution degradation and removal
