YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD

To support the professional development of early-career researchers, the IABEP conference committee decided to award:

• two awards for the best oral presentations and two awards for the best short-talk presentations delivered by young scientists (PhD/MSc students and early-career researchers, i.e. within 10 years of obtaining their PhD.). The prize would consist of free registration for the next IABEP conference in 2027.

• in addition, IABEP will allocate funding to cover the registration fees for 10 PhD./MSc. students and early-career researchers attending the Nitra meeting.

• IABEP committee will choose the nominees for this award, based on documents.
  
  

Who is eligible?

• Participation in the competition for the awards for best oral and best poster presentations is strictly limited to young researchers (<10 years from obtaining PhD) and PhD/MSc students

• If you are a PhD student or not more than 10 years have elapsed from obtaining your PhD degree and would like to compete for the award based on your oral or poster presentation, please follow the instructions below:

Required documentation for the best poster/oral award competition:

• PhD/MSc Students have to provide:
  - A Proof of the student status (valid ID student card with transcript from registering office showing current enrolment)

• Early career researchers who earned their doctorates no longer than 10 years ago have to provide:
  - A copy of their degree (diploma), or confirmation that they have graduated in a defined timeframe
